Breweries in India churn out one of the best wines and ales using only freshly produced local ingredients. It delivers a taste that is crisp, unique and fresh in every sense of the terms. While this may seem unbelievable to hear or read, a tour to one of these manufacturing centres will be a valuable experience. The ale I tasted was fresh, mild, smooth and balanced. The ting of bitter notes counteracted the malty notes, delivering the best taste of barley. This would work as a perfect accompaniment with any spicy Indian meat cuisine. Fruity hints was what I tasted next. Made from one of the finest ingredients that deliver hoppy and malty notes, the ale would be an apt accompaniment with a pork dish or simple apple pie.
The next tour to one of the finest coco cola bottling plants gave me ample notes to pen down to add market value to my pitches. Personally, it was a treat to watch the inception of bottles travel in line to be shaped round and filled with coke and then sealed for final packaging and delivery. What I learnt was the bottles being re-cycled for repeat use which was one of the reasons why companies can sell with lesser profit margins. The strategic distribution centre is where the bottles are labelled into boxes and wait to be picked up by distributors who further sell these to consumers.
