Looking for a good, reasonably inexpensive accommodation in a safe area was a challenge. I realized that playing the property game required skill and experience and knowledge about real estate. So I got in touch with a real estate agent, and so began the hunt for a home.
We looked at several areas. South Delhi was too expensive, and most other parts of Delhi are either overpopulated or unsafe or absolutely filthy. A friend of mine suggested I purchase residential property in Ghaziabad. I visited the suburban city which is located in UP and is closely connected to Delhi through a complex road network. A number of options were available at competitive prices, and various forms like in the form of studio apartments, flats, penthouses and villas – to name a few. 2 and 3 BHK apartments seemed to be the most common ones and also most sought after.
After surveying every nook and cranny of residential property in Ghaziabad, I moved to explore housing projects in Noida. Noida, which stands for New Okhla Industrial Development Area, is a clean and well developed city with a number of schools and colleges of very high calibre, such as Amity University, Army public school, and Genesis Global School etc. Housing projects in Noida were ideal for a student like me, as it was in a clean suburban area and the variety available was even greater than that found in Ghaziabad. It seemed as though almost every real estate conglomerate had set up complexes here. Luckily for me, I found great accommodation in Noida at a fairly economical price and located very close to my educational institute!
